The Georgetown Fair is proud to celebrate the traditions of agriculture, craftsmanship, and creativity through our Home Economics & Agriculture Exhibits. These competitions highlight the talent, dedication, and hard work of our community members, from seasoned farmers to first-time bakers. Whether this is your first time showing or you’re back with years of experience, check out the information below for more details and reminders for the year’s show.

Showcase Your Skills

Do you have the best homemade pie in the county?
Are your quilts a work of art? Does your garden yield the biggest and best produce?

Whether you're a lifelong exhibitor or trying something new, the fair is the
perfect place tocdisplay your talents and compete for top honors.

Step 1: Choose Your Classes

Choose which classes you'd like to enter projects in from 12 departments offered. You may enter one entry per class. (Each entry has a fee of $1.50)

Step 2: Fill Out Entry Form

Fill out your entry forms before arriving at the fair grounds for entry day by downloading the PDF from our website: www.georgetownfair.org. View our 2026 Fairbook for classes and entry information.

Step 3: Entry Day - Drop Off!

Drop off your projects and entry forms on Saturday, July 11th between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the fairgrounds. We will be taking entries in the showcasing building.

Step 4: Judging Takes Place

Judging of projects will take place on Sunday, July 12th. All buildings are closed on this day, but will be open for viewing on Monday, July 7th at 4 p.m.

Step 5: View Your Awards

Visit the Home Ec. buildings to view your ribbons and awards starting Monday, July 13th. Building hours are from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Step 6: Pick Up Projects

Project and award pick-up will take place on Saturday, July 18th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Projects should stay at the fairgrounds for showing the entire week.
